Today County Commissioner Hal Valeche voiced his complete support for Governor Rick Scott's proposed reforms for Enterprise Florida, including the creation of the Florida Enterprise Fund.

It is with great sadness that the office of Palm Beach County District One Commissioner Hal Valeche is announcing the passing of our friend and colleague, Senior Administrative Assistant Cindy L. DeFilippo. Cindy was involved in a tragic automobile accident in Georgia and succumbed to her injuries on the night of June 11th, 2015
Cindy was known to her coworkers and by the residents of District 1 as a kind, caring and thoughtful woman and to her family as daughter, wife and mother beyond compare. As an employee of Palm Beach County for over 32 years, Cindy was known for her big smile and easygoing style in the halls of the Governmental Center and in the neighborhoods of North County.
As a longtime Aide to Commissioners Karen Marcus and Hal Valeche, Cindy spent years working for the residents of the district and always strived for the best when it came to protecting and enhancing the lifestyle enjoyed by those living in the district. Cindy also worked as an advocate for the entire County and assisted the commissioners with communicating the vision of Palm Beach County's leaders to those outside of government... More
