Unincorporated Residential Projects
The majority of recent residential development in Palm Beach County has occurred in large-scale, master-planned communities. The following map displays the location of approved residential projects and subdivisions with fifty or more dwelling units. These projects are located in the unincorporated part of the county, outside of any municipal boundaries, and are approved by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners. The project listing provides additional information for the developments. Palm Beach County Planning staff gathers this information on a biannual basis. Municipal Residential Projects
The municipal maps show the residential communities that are located within city boundaries in Palm Beach County. This information is collected from a variety of sources, including the Palm Beach County School Board, and greatly relies on the support of municipal cooperation. As such, the list may be updated at various times of the year for each city and have varying levels of accuracy.
