Animal Care and Control will accept anonymous complaints involving animal cruelty or animal neglect; However, our phone lines are recorded which may result in our agency being forced to release the recording of the actual phone call, pursuant to a Public Records Request.

The Dispatch Center at Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control receives over 700 telephone calls daily from residents requesting assistance with animal related issues. Our Animal Control Officers (ACO) respond daily to approximately 100-200 requests for services. Some investigations are resolved in minutes, whereas other requests can consume their time for hours.
