Group Visits

Groups are welcome to visit the nature center and explore the animals, exhibits, and trails during regular operating hours at no charge. Please call us to let us know in advance when you are coming so we can ensure there are no conflicts. If your group would like a staff-led program, see below.

Group Programs

Okeeheelee Nature Center offers educational programs for specialty groups such as scout troops, camp groups, youth groups, social clubs, etc. (For school groups, please click here.) The cost for a 1-hour program is $3 per person with a minimum of 10 people and maximum of 30 people.

A typical program includes a ½ hour nature walk exploring the pine flatwoods habitat, and a ½ hour live animal presentation. If you have any special requests for your program, such as a specific animal/topic or a nature-related badge you are trying to earn, please let us know when booking your program, and we will try to work with you the best we can.
