Splashparks are now open for the summer!

This brightly colored water playground is located next to Westgate Recreation Center and offers nine water features and a splashing good time for all ages.

Saturday: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Sunday: 12:00 noon - 6:00 pm

*Closes on December 1, 2011 and will reopen the first Saturday of the public school spring break in 2012. John Prince Park Splash Park open year round.

Features
Interactive features, enhanced with changing computerized programs, include rotating spray cannons, a water buggy, tipping water buckets, and ground-level geysers. A chlorinated, re-circulating water filtration system ensures no wasted water, and shade sails have been provided for sun protection.

Families will enjoy additional amenities including a traditional playground, recreational gym, shaded sitting areas, large picnic pavilion, and multi-purpose field. For groups of ten or more, weekday reservations are required June-August. Contact the recreation center for picnic pavilion or splashpark reservations.

• Do not swallow the water, as it is not drinking water. The water is re-circulated, filtered and chemically treated.
• Children who are not potty trained must wear proper swim diapers.
• Diapers must be changed in the restrooms, which are equipped with changing tables.
• Children who are ill with diarrhea should not use the splashpark.
• The splashpark capacity is 20 persons.
