Features fundamentals of ocean life guarding including rescue techniques, rescue equipment, marine hazards, marine ecology, and marine life awareness. Also, includes kayaking, snorkeling, rescue boat, swimming, running, and lifeguard competitions. Taught by Palm Beach County Ocean Lifeguards in an atmosphere that promotes teamwork, respect, and self esteem.

2012 Junior Lifeguard Program for ages 9-16.
*NEW* TRYOUTS: All participants must pass a 100 yard swim under 2:30 minutes. After the participant passes the swim test, a parent may register their child for the program. The participants will test in the same order of the line that forms.
