Property Appraiser Gary R. Nikolits, CFA, is happy to announce that employees of the Property Appraiser’s Office contributed more than 4 tons, or 8,825 pounds, of canned food to its 13th annual Holiday Food Drive.
We donated the canned goods to Extended Hands Community Outreach in Pleasant City. This is the 8th consecutive year the Property Appraiser’s Office has donated to Extended Hands.
“We hope our contribution will help individuals and families who would otherwise do without the basic necessity of food this holiday season,” said Nikolits. “It is especially rewarding to us to know that every ounce of food donated by our employees is distributed right here in our own community.”
