County Seeks Artist(s) for Integrated Public Art Project

Palm Beach County seeks to commission an artist (artist team) to create integrated, site-specific welcoming, eye-catching gateway feature(s) that accentuates the facility’s pedestrian entrance and visually draws commuters through the seating plaza then onto their chosen mode of transportation (bus or train). Key locations for sculptural gateway features include the main entrance to the facility on Clearwater Drive, within planting beds along the stamped concrete central pathway, and at the eastern terminus of the pathway at the bus arrival/departure platform.

Artwork should reference the local environment as well as the cultural and architectural character of the area. Artwork should also compliment the Palm Tran logos. Project area is approximately 2,700 square feet. The length of the central pathway is approximately 100 feet.
