Palm Tran CONNECTION to Provide Transportation to Early Voting Sites

Palm Tran CONNECTION, Palm Beach County’s paratransit service, will offer free transportation to CONNECTION riders seeking to participate in the county’s early voting process.

This free transportation service is being offered to registered Palm Tran CONNECTION passengers in an effort to encourage them to take advantage of the option to vote early, thus avoiding the potential of long lines on Election Day. CONNECTION passengers may schedule trips to their nearest early voting site five days in advance of the day they wish to travel.

Early voting begins on Monday, October 20, 2008 at the following locations:

Voters will be able to cast early ballots through November 2.  The early voting sites will be open Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
