9-11 Commemoration

On September 11, 2012, Commissioner Abrams joined Gov. Rick Scott and other local officials at Boca Raton High School for a ceremony commemorating the 11th anniversary of the 9-11 terrorist attacks. The students and faculty put together a wonderful program honoring those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, members of our armed forces, and first responders. The program featured a number of choir performances such as the national anthem and Hymn to America, and a keynote address by Gov. Scott.
