Commissioner Abrams was recently invited to lunch with a group of newly elected officials who were participating in a program sponsored by The Good Government Initiative, launched by former Miami-Dade County Commissioner Katy Sorenson.  As a table mentor, Commissioner Abrams shared his personal and professional experiences plus the daily challenges of public service.  Prior to being a county commissioner, Abrams was the mayor of Boca Raton from 2001 through 2008.
