Water Utilities Receives AWWA Outstanding Class A Water Treatment Plant Award

At the July 10 BCC meeting, officials with the American WaterWorks Association (AWWA) recognized the county’s water plant at Sandalfoot Cove as the best water plant of its size in Florida. The Sandalfoot Cove plant, operated by the Water Utilities Department (WUD), provides drinking water to West Boca and southwestern Delray Beach.
