Newly Renovated Park Opens in Delray Beach

On June 5, County Commissioner Steven L. Abrams joined Delray Beach officials including Mayor Woodie McDuffie, Vice Mayor Adam Frankel and commissioners Gary Eliopoulos and Fred Fetzer in welcoming the public to the newly renovated Robert P. Miller Park at 1905 SW 4th Ave.

The celebration included a short ceremony with guest speakers from the Delray Beach National and American Little Leagues, Delray Beach Miracle League and Bucky Dent Baseball School.  After the dedication, guests enjoyed a bounce house, water slide, and dunk tank and also got to watch the Delray Beach National Little League and Miracle League Baseball games.

The public can enjoy the playground, batting cages and baseball fields at Robert P. Miller Park seven days a week from 8 a.m. until dusk.  Field rentals can be made my calling Tom Kwiatek at (561) 243-7255.
