Local Boca Raton Residents Receive Gold Stars

Commissioner Abrams recently attended the annual Walk of Recognition ceremony hosted by the Boca Raton Historical Society at Royal Palm Place.  Boca Raton residents who have made significant civic contributions over the years are selected by the Historical Society and honored with a permanent gold star placed in the walkway at the plaza. 

This year's honorees were philanthropist Flossy Keesley and former Deputy Mayor Al Travasos.
