Abrams Joins Florida Lt. Governor Carroll in Support of Local Businesses

On Friday, May 20, Commissioner Abrams joined Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll and other local officials in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Village of Delray, a new community of affordable apartments located at 695 Auburn Avenue in downtown Delray Beach.

The Lt. Governor’s visit also included a stroll downtown on Atlantic Avenue to recognize some of the local businesses and their important contributions to the area’s economy.

Delray Beach is a nationally acclaimed destination city offering visitors and residents a vibrant downtown venue with more than 80 restaurants and an abundance of family-friendly activities and exciting hotspots.  Delray’s local businesses provide more than 1,500 jobs in the hospitality industry.
