Commissioner Abrams presented a proclamation to hit songwriter and Boca Raton resident Dennis Lambert on behalf of Mayor Whelchel prior to his concert at FAU Auditorium on April 22.  Behind them are Mickey Thomas, formerly of Jefferson Starship, and Peter Beckett, of Player and Little River Band.  Lambert’s hits include Nightshift, We Built This City on Rock and Roll, and Ain’t No Woman Like the One I Got, among 80 other top 100 hits.
