Thousands Support Cancer Research Event at FAU in Boca Raton

Commissioner Abrams spoke to a crowd of over 1,000 people on April 2nd, providing his support in their participation of the 11th Annual Walkathon and Health Fair Saturday sponsored by the Paps Corps – Champions for Cancer Research.

The event included a health fair by UHealth – University of Miami Health System.  There was medical staff on hand offering free health screenings and lectures that could potentially detect existing conditions in their earliest stages.
