Students and Teacher Honored at Boca Raton High School

On March 30, Palm Beach County Commissioners Steven Abrams and Paulette Burdick presented Certificates of Congratulations to the Boca Raton Community High School Robotics team.   The team recently won the “Rookie All-Star Award” in the Florida Regional Competition (FRC) held at the University of Central Florida.   There were 20 rookie teams in the competition.

FRC is an annual competition that helps students discover the excitement of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).   Over 50,000 students from all over the world attended the two-day competition. 

The team will also be competing in the national competition in St. Louis in April.
