Stand Among Friends Inaugural “Emb(race)” Event

On February 27th, Commissioner Abrams and several local politicians attended the Stand Among Friends inaugural “emb(race),” a 1-mile, 5K and 10K event at FAU in Boca Raton.  Stand Among Friends is a nonprofit organization that was formed to assist all people with disabilities.  The all-inclusive race features participants who run, walk, stroll, roll, use a wheelchair or handcycle to “emb(race)” their differences.
