Boca Pointe Community Donates Ambulance to Israel

Commissioner Abrams joined Boca Pointe community residents and public officials on March 6th for the presentation of a fully equipped Mobile Intensive Care Unit to Magen David Adom (MDA) at the Club of Boca Pointe.  The residents, led by Chairman Burt Goodman, raised funds to dedicate the ambulance, which will be shipped to Israel.

The Boca Pointe Chapter of American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA) was started five years ago by resident Burt Goodman.  Since its inception, the group has donated a room in the Arad Emergency Medical Station and six ambulances, making this their seventh.

Magen David Adom is the common thread that touches the lives of every Israeli at one point or another, responding to accidents, illnesses, pregnancies, heart attacks, strokes and war and terror incidents.
