The Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (WUD) is hosting a series of six free photography workshops about South Florida’s birds and how to get the best nature photographs. Nationally recognized nature photographers have volunteered to give lectures and critiques at the Wakodahatchee Wetlands boardwalk on the following dates:
Workshop I – Feb. 27, 7:30 a.m. with Stuart Freeman
Workshop II – Feb. 27, 9 a.m. with Connie Shackleford
Workshop III - March 6, 7:30 a.m. with Arlene Spagna
Workshop IV - March 6, 9 a.m. with Connie Shackleford
Workshop V - March 13, 7:30 a.m. with Karen Milstei
Workshop VI - March 13, 9 a.m. with Tina Valant
To register for a workshop, please send an email to email@example.com. Attendees are asked to arrive 15 minutes early at the entrance to the boardwalk. Workshops are limited to 15 participants. The workshops last about three hours. Critique participation is voluntary.
The boardwalk will open to regular visitors at 11 a.m. on the mornings of the workshops. Walkers, who usually walk at Wakodahatchee Wetlands, are asked to go to the Green Cay Wetlands boardwalk on the mornings of the workshops.
The Wakodahatchee Wetlands are located in Delray Beach at 13026 Jog Road between Lake Ida and Flavor Pict Roads.
