Annual Golf Tourney to Benefit PBC Fire Rescue Volunteers and Drowning Prevention Coalition
This year’s outing will take place the morning of Thursday, April 19, at Indian Spring Country Club in Boynton Beach. The course is located on El Clair Ranch Road south of Woolbright Road. Players can participate in either an 18-hole or 9-hole best-ball scramble. The event begins with a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and the 18-hole shot-gun tee-off at 8:30. The 9-hole best-ball scramble tees off at 10:15. A Chinese auction starts at noon, followed by a buffet luncheon with great prizes at 1:30 p.m. The entry fee for 18-hole players is $100; 9-hole players, $70. A new car from Mullinax Ford will be awarded to anyone hitting a hole-in-one from the designated par-three tee. An ace on any other hole wins other fabulous prizes! Both CAB Corp and the Volunteer Battalion are tax exempt 501(c)(3) charities with an all-volunteer staff that raises funds for fire equipment and supplies not funded by the county. All net proceeds from this golf outing will be used to support the life saving endeavors of the Volunteer Battalion and Drowning Prevention Coalition.
