Commissioner Abrams was pleased to participate at Fire Station 55’s recent open house on Palmetto Park Road in Boca Raton. The event provided members of the community an opportunity to stop by and meet their local firefighters and learn more about the services they provide. 

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue covers over 1,800 square miles and serves 700,000 residents countywide.  While Fire Rescue is responsible for fire suppression, hazardous materials mitigation and emergency medical services, they also provide community and education outreach programs.
