To My Fellow Palm Beach County Residents

Palm Beach International Airport (PBIA) currently serves over 5.8 million passengers annually with over 16 commercial and commuter airlines.  PBIA was recently voted 3rd best airport in the U.S. and 6th in the world by the readers of the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler magazine.  The airport is one of the county’s premiere enterprise facilities that operates completely on the revenue generated by its services and fees rather than property taxes.

The state-of-the-art terminal building is a superb example of a user-friendly, congestion-free, modern airport with amenities such as free Wi-Fi.  Over $8 million in renovations funded by the concessioners have created brighter, food concessions and restaurants as well as enhanced retail areas.  New retailers include a Brooks Brothers women’s store, a Brighton Collectibles boutique, NY Times Books and News store, CNBC News shop and Kidzoo and Jungle Fun Playground store.   Just recently, Comfort Spa Zone announced their plans to open a spa at the airport.

Check out the new Chili’s Too restaurant that just recently opened in addition to the other eateries such as Sneads’ Tavern, Rooney’s Public Ale House, Starbucks, Nick’s Tomato Pie, Burger King, Quizno’s Subs and Hoffman’s chocolates and ice cream.

Also, please visit the County’s Art in Public Places exhibition, “Destination: Culture,” located on level 2 featuring selected works on loan by local visual artists.

Whether you are transporting someone or flying, leave some extra time to check out our award-winning airport.  You won’t be disappointed – it’s one of the county’s premiere self-supporting facilities.

Parking at the airport is easy and affordable with lots of options:

Premium Lot: (outside baggage claim) first 20 minutes - $2 minimum charge, $1 per 20 minutes thereafter, maximum charge - $30 per 24 hours

Short Term: (terminal levels 4 - 7) $1 per 20 minutes, maximum charge - $17 per 24 hours (1,100 spaces)

Long Term: (surface lot & garage) $1 per 20 minutes,maximum charge - $13 per 24 hours(5,500 spaces)

Park & Ride:(includes shuttle service to curbside baggage check-in) first two hours - $2, $1 each additional 20 minutes, maximum charge - $7 per 24 hours (3,000 spaces)
