Commissioner Speaks to Local Volunteers

On Sunday, January 17, 2010, Commissioner Abrams was invited to speak at the kick-off reception for “United We Serve” hosted by the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.  The event was to join together as a community and raise awareness of the importance of volunteerism.  More than 675 volunteers attended and over 40 of the area’s not-for-profit agencies were represented.
