When Chief Herman Brice was asked if he would like to be a celebrity volunteer for a fund drive for The Lords Place, he never hesitated to accept the challenge. He would have to spend 3 hours, in the sun, in a dumpster, next to Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. With bullhorn in hand and his ever-present smile, donations were aggressively solicited and cheerily collected from passing motorists. Again, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue rose to the occasion. Community service, community assistance and customer service, all vital parts of our job. We follow the Master.
