Range Use Requirements

 
  • At all times, firearm safety rules will be strictly adhered to, and any violation will result in the loss of shooting privileges.

  • All shooters and spectators on the firing line shall be required to have eye protection and ear protection.

  • No open toed shoes allowed.

  • All shooters will execute the County required liability waiver, and show a valid drivers license or Florida identification card.

  • Firearms will be limited to rifles, shotguns, and black powder long guns in calibers generally used for sporting events and hunting. No fully automatic weapons or handguns will be allowed.

  • Restricted ammunition is as follows: No steel core or armor piercing rounds; exploding or incendiary rounds; and no tracer ammunition. Range safety personnel reserve the right to inspect rounds to preserve safety and range integrity.

  • All rifles, shotguns, and black power rifles must be brought to the firing line unloaded and encased.

  • No smoking or eating is allowed on the firing line.
