Lake Worth Lagoon Mission Statement
To restore, conserve and manage the Lake Worth Lagoon ecosystem
to a level of quality to obtain measurable and significant improvements to the
Lagoon’s water and sediment quality; to provide habitat for native plants,
fish and wildlife, and aesthetic, recreational and economic benefits for the
residents and visitors of Palm Beach County; and to encourage, develop and promote
a partnership of public and private interests to manage the Lagoon.

The Lake Worth Lagoon Initiative (LWLI) is an informal forum for the exchange of information about the Lagoon. Together, we increase our collective awareness of environmental enhancement and monitoring efforts and discuss opportunities and methodologies to restore and protect the Lagoon.
