Obtaining Contract Documents

 

Contract Documents can be downloaded free of charge from the Active Bids page. Free document viewers are available for all file types.

Printed copies can be purchased by submitting a Request Form pdf and an $85.00 non-refundable service charge. Payment can be made via check or money order, payable to PBC Board of County Commissioners. Cash is also accepted for requests made in person.

Documents will be sent via First-Class Mail. For faster service, you are encouraged to include a prepaid shipping label or FedEx account number.

In Person
Advanced notification is required for all purchases made in person. Email a Request Form to or call 561-233-2400. You will be contacted when your documents are available for pick-up.

 

Addenda

 

Modifications made to the Contract Documents prior to bid opening will be released as addenda. These addenda will be available for download on the Active Bids page and will not be mailed to bidders. It is the responsibility of each bidder to routinely check for new addenda. Failure to download and acknowledge all addenda may result in the rejection of your bid.

 

Pre-bid Meetings

 

Pre-bid meetings are held at Vista Center, 2300 N. Jog Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33411 (Directions). The date, time, and room number are listed on the Active Bids page.

 

Site Visits

 

Information regarding the site visit for each project is listed on the Active Bids page. For all projects, including those with a non-mandatory site visit or where no site visit is scheduled, bidders must confirm they have visited the site per the requirements of the Bid Form.

 

Vendor Registration

 

Each bidder should be registered as a vendor with Palm Beach County prior to bid opening. For more information, visit the Purchasing Department's Vendor Registration page or call 561-616-6800.

 

Project Questions

 

All project specific questions must be submitted in writing and received at least 5 business days prior to bid opening. Questions may be emailed to
, faxed to 561-233-2414, or delivered to the address listed above.

 

Bid Submission

 

For a complete list of all documents required for submission, see the Bid Checklist in the Contract Documents. All bids must include one original set of documents, printed and submitted in a sealed package per the Instructions To Bidders section of the Contract Documents. Electronic submissions will not be accepted.

Bids must be received by the date and time set in the Invitation For Bid section of the Contract Documents.
