Logistics is defined as “the planning, implementation, and coordination of the details of a business or operation.” The Logistics Section at Palm Beach County's Division of Emergency Management is responsible for:
- Requisitioning equipment and supplies that support daily and disaster operations.
- Maintaining equipment and facilities for Palm Beach County's Division of Emergency Management.
- Coordination of points of distribution and logistics staging areas.
- Direction and coordination of the Emergency Operating Area (EOA) Program.
