At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on May 7, 2024, Commissioner Woodward presented a proclamation recognizing Tarra Enterprises Inc. for 40 years of commitment to Palm Beach County. In 1984, Lou Ella Jordan established her airport concessions business, JL Unlimited, when Palm Beach International Airport was seeking minority participation in the retail gift shop on its Delta Airlines concourse, and JL Unlimited became the first minority concession owner at the airport. For decades, Tarra Moten has given back to the community in various ways and currently serves as president of the board of HomeSafe, a nonprofit protecting some of the county’s most vulnerable residents, victims of child abuse and domestic violence.
