COBWRA Leadership Installation Ceremony

​On Wednesday, April 17, 2024, Commissioner Woodward took part in the installation ceremony of the newly elected members of the Coalition of Boynton West Residential Associations (COBWRA) Board, held at Valencia Shores in Lake Worth Beach. She joined the other six county commissioners, along with County Administrator Verdenia Baker, Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Joseph Abruzzo, State Attorney Dave Aronberg and other dignitaries to welcome the new COBWRA leadership.

 
The Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Honor Guard and the Palm Beach County Firefighters Pipes and Drums delivered a spirited opening to the ceremony. Commissioner Woodward had the honor of administering the oath of office to both 1st Vice President Debbie Murphy of Pine Tree Country Club Estates and 2nd Vice President Irwin Cohen of Valencia Bay. Barbara Roth of Bellaggio was installed as the new president, succeeding outgoing President Steve Wallace of GreyStone.
 
COBWRA is a nonpartisan organization representing residential associations in West Boynton Beach and West Lake Worth in unincorporated Palm Beach County. Founded in 1981, the organization represents more than 100 member associations and 140,000 residents. For more information, visit cobwra.org.
