At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on April 2, 2024, Commissioner Bernard presented a proclamation declaring April 2024 as Until Justice Just Is Month in Palm Beach County. April 2024 marks the first Until Justice Just Is Month, a campaign sponsored by the YWCA of Palm Beach County with the mission to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. The primary goals of the Until Justice Just Is effort include raising awareness of systemic inequities and policies that perpetuate injustice based on race, gender and other identities and building partnerships and collaborations that transform systems.
