At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on January 23, 2024, Mayor Sachs presented a proclamation declaring January 27, 2024 as the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk Day in Palm Beach County. The walk offers support to those who have been impacted by breast cancer and furthers the mission of Susan G. Komen®. Funds raised by participants and donated by sponsors for the walk advances research to find new discoveries and more effective treatments, helps to provide evidence-based breast health education and directs vital patient services and support in our community.
