On Dec. 15, 2022, Commissioner Woodward attended her first Transportation Planning Agency (TPA) Governing Board meeting in West Palm Beach.
The board is comprised of 21 locally elected officials: 15 elected officials from the 13 largest municipalities, five of the seven Palm Beach County commissioners and one Port of Palm Beach commissioner. Every month they meet to approve the TPA's core projects and provide direction for agency staff.
The TPA is a federally mandated public agency that works with local partners and state and federal agencies to plan, prioritize and fund our transportation system for the nearly 1.5 million Palm Beach County residents.
