At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on Sept. 12, 2023, Commissioner Woodward presented a proclamation declaring October 2023 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Palm Beach County. Domestic violence impacts millions of people each year and continues to be a major social crisis and health care concern in our country, state and county. In supporting victims of domestic violence, Palm Beach County joins local programs, state coalitions and national organizations committed to sending a clear message that domestic violence will not be tolerated.
