On June 29, 2023, Commissioner Woodward attended the Florida Atlantic Research & Development Authority (FARDA) Board of Directors monthly meeting. The commissioner had the honor of swearing in new board member Imran Siddiqui on behalf of the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners.
FARDA oversees the Research Park at Florida Atlantic University, home to technology companies and research-based organizations working to support the research and development activities of Florida Atlantic University. All 32 park companies must collaborate with students and/or faculty in research and development initiatives to spur economic growth and job creation in Palm Beach County.
