On June 14, 2023, Commissioner Woodward joined Chief Judge Glenn Kelley at Palm Beach County's Juvenile Drug Court Graduation at the Daniel T.K. Hurley Courthouse in West Palm Beach. The commissioner congratulated Chard Henry and Alex Sanchez who successfully completed the program requirements.
The Palm Beach County Juvenile Drug Court Program is a diversion program that seeks to help minors with drug, alcohol and addiction issues. More than 90% of people who complete the stringent program of drug treatment, therapy and random drug testing will go arrest-free for the next three years and likely never enter the criminal justice system again.
