On May 19, 2023, Commissioner Woodward joined staff and volunteers of the Faulk Center for Counseling to tour their facilities in Boca Raton. The center aims to promote emotional well-being through free and low-cost programs such as counseling, therapy and support. The commissioner thanked the organization for providing essential services to our most vulnerable residents.
Mental health services are provided by graduate students pursuing masters or doctoral degrees in psychology, social work or mental health counseling and clinical volunteers who hold advanced degrees in mental health fields. All graduate students and volunteers are trained and supervised by the center's staff of licensed psychologists.
