At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on May 2, 2023, Commissioner Baxter presented a proclamation declaring May 1-7, 2023, as Palm Beach County Small Business Week. Every year since 1963, the president of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week that recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. In celebration of this week, the Office of Equal Business Opportunity (OEBO) will host and participate in a series of workshops, May 1-5, 2023, to provide assistance to entrepreneurs starting businesses, local small businesses growing or expanding their businesses and teach small businesses how to do business with Palm Beach County.
