At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on April 4, 2023, Commissioner Baxter presented a certificate of recognition honoring Grantley Coulthrust, 2022 Supervisor of Elections Charles Delong Poll Worker of the Year Award Winner, for his dedication, commitment, reliability and leadership while maintaining the integrity of the election process. Grantley Coulthrust has excelled in a number of positions including inspector, assistant site supervisor and site supervisor during early voting, super clerk on Election Day for the Adopt-a-Precinct program and assistant to the Vote by Mail Department in supervised voting at assisted living communities. He has always been willing to work whenever and wherever he has been needed, only been assigned to the same Election Day precinct twice and never worked in his home precinct. His dependability and flexibility have been greatly appreciated.
