On March 3, 2023, Commissioner Woodward attended this year’s Women Build hosted by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County. The commissioner was joined by other local women volunteers who donated their time to build homes in Delray Beach.
Habitat for Humanity works in more than 70 countries and has helped over 39 million people improve their living conditions since 1976. Their mission involves collaborating with local volunteers and partners focused on providing accessible, affordable and safe homes.
The organization also addresses policy reform to remove systemic barriers preventing low-income and historically underserved families from accessing adequate, affordable shelter.
