At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on Jan. 10, 2023, Commissioner Woodward presented a proclamation recognizing the 20th anniversary of the Palm Beach County Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA). Palm Beach County has partnered with the Internal Revenue Service for the past 19 years to provide free, confidential and secure tax preparation and e-filing of tax returns to qualified low-to-moderate income households through the VITA program.
