​On Dec. 8, 2022, Commissioner Woodward joined local officials at the Palm Beach County League of Cities Holiday BBQ and Toy Drive at the Pahokee Marina. The commissioner thanked everyone who donated a toy and for the home-cooked BBQ.

Our western tri-city community is truly a special place. Surrounded by 412,000 acres dedicated to farming, it generates over $1.4 billion in agricultural sales annually. The county leads the nation in the cultivation of sugarcane and fresh sweet corn, and is the number one producer of sweet peppers, sod, lettuce, rice, radishes, cucumbers, specialty leaf, eggplant and herbs in Florida.
