At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on Nov. 1, 2022, Commissioner Maria Sachs presented a proclamation declaring Nov. 6-12, 2022 as Forensic Nurses Week in Palm Beach County.
The county recognizes the importance of forensic nurses as being highly educated professionals who continue to meet the complex forensic and health care needs of individuals, families and communities. Forensic nurses ensure communities utilize their services to prevent, mitigate or intervene following acts of violence.
