County Parks Reopening Following Effects of Hurricane Dorian

The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department is reopening all county-operated parks and boat ramps after conducting safety inspections following the effects of the storm, effective 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 4. Parks with beaches will be unguarded and county offices and recreational facilities will remain closed until Thursday, September 5, when normal operations will resume.

The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department, recognized nationally for excellence in park and recreation management, operates more than 110 parks and recreational facilities and provides organized recreational programs and services for people of all ages and abilities.
