*NEW* REVISED VACCINE ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES FOR COVID-19 VACCINATIONS
Executive Order 21-79 revises vaccine guidelines for Florida residents. During this phase of vaccine administration, all providers administering any COVID-19 vaccine shall only vaccinate the following populations:

• Long-term care facility residents and staff;

• Persons 40 years of age and older;

• Health care personnel with direct patient contact;

• Persons determined by a physician to be extremely vulnerable to COVID-19.

Effective April 5, 2021, all Floridians shall be eligible to receive any COVID19 vaccine as prescribed by the Food and Drug Administration.

HEALTH CARE DISTRICT OF PBC ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF STREAMLINED ONLINE SELF-SCHEDULING PROCESS
The Health Care District of Palm Beach County has streamlined its online COVID-19 vaccine appointment request process to make it more user-friendly and efficient. The new scheduling system is available at http://vaccine.hcdpbc.org [vaccine.hcdpbc.org]. The technology allows those who are eligible under Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' Executive Orders to self-schedule the time and location of their vaccination appointment. The system rollout is timely as it coincides with the Health Care District marking a milestone of providing 100,000 COVID-19 vaccines.

The Health Care District's appointment-only, walk-in vaccination sites are located at the South County Civic Center west of Delray Beach, the Burns Road Community Center in Palm Beach Gardens, and the South Florida Fairgrounds in suburban West Palm Beach. These sites are supported by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, the City of Palm Beach Gardens, Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue, United Way volunteers, Palm Beach County leadership and the Florida Department of Health for Palm Beach County.

The new single-step scheduling form gives patients more control, reduces wait times for appointments and makes it clear where patients stand in the process. Individuals who visit the website can schedule themselves until all appointments are full.  For those with no internet access, the Health Care District's helpline at 561-804-4115 is available to assist in English, Spanish and Creole. Appointments are available based on demand and vaccine supply that is received weekly.   The Health Care District is committed to improving efficiencies and customer experience in an effort to achieve community immunity.

The Palm Beach County Community Services Department opened its online portal for Emergency Rental Assistance and Utility Assistance on March 10th. The portal is currently closed but will open again once current applications are processed.
