Come down to PBC Animal Care and Control on March 30th from 12-4pm for the March Madness Adoption Event! The shelter has a lot of amazing dogs and cats that are waiting for someone to adopt them into their families!

The March Madness event hopes to invite the public to meet the amazing, adoptable dogs and cats that are looking for new homes. To help with this endeavor, all standard adoption fees are waived!

Not looking to adopt? No problem! The March Madness event is a great opportunity to visit and see the facility, talk to our staff and volunteers, and learn about the ways to help the homeless animals in Palm Beach County like fostering or organizing a supply drive.

While here, take a look at our March Madness Longest Resident Tournament bracket! Here's how it works: Our 48 longest residents qualify! When a "competitor" is adopted, they are removed from the tournament and into their new homes. Whoever they are matched with on the bracket moves on until the shelter is left with one long-term resident! The tournament progress can be followed with the bracket proudly displayed in the lobby of PBC Animal Care and Control! Additionally, all of the pets participating have a special card on their kennel indicating their player number that relates to how long they've been at the shelter
