Boardwalk to Reopen at Green Cay Nature Center and Wetlands

Effective Aug. 31, 2020, the boardwalk at Green Cay Nature Center and Wetlands will reopen to the public. The boardwalk hours are sunrise to sunset, while public restrooms will be accessible from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The nature center building will remain closed.

Visitors are asked to please adhere to these guidelines: 

  • Follow CDC's guidelines on personal hygiene prior to visiting Green Cay.
  • Do not visit Green Cay if exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Follow all signage; facial coverings are required in two-way traffic.
  • Please keep moving, and be courteous to others.
  • Share the boardwalk, and warn other users of your presence as you pass.

Please remember to practice social distancing, remain out of congregate settings, avoid mass gatherings and maintain distance (approximately 6 feet or 2 meters) from others, and when this is not possible, wear a facial covering.
