On December 14, 2018, Commissioner Weinroth and Commissioner Weiss joined the county’s Parks and Recreation staff at John Prince Park for their annual employee recognition event and BBQ. The commissioner was thrilled to meet the staff and thank them for all their hard work to keep our parks top notch.
The county operates an award-wining park system with a wide range of leisure opportunities. Over 8,000 acres of parkland are available to discover. The mission is to improve the quality of life for Palm Beach County residents and visitors by providing diverse, safe and affordable recreation services, welcoming parks, and enriching social and cultural experiences.
